On 1/20/2012 went to the National park "aquaprad" opened the exhibition "THE BIG THREE". This refers to the brown bear, lynx and wolves, who live in the Alps in South Tyrol, in the Val Venosta, back on the road. Visitors are shown some very nice specimens. With this interactive exhibition will include an attempt to break down prejudices towards these animals and to identify opportunities for peaceful coexistence between humans and animals.

Of 14 to 21 January 2012 instead of the Alpine Trail, 2012, one of the best sled dog race in the Alps. 300 km to overcome 7 stages: Lu - Val Müstair - Prague - Dobbiaco - On 14 sixths. and 15th January 2012 was the first stage over 40 km from Lu in Munster to S-charl. In a breathtakingly beautiful winter scenery, we could now start to see the participants in Lu. The excited barking of the huskies had already heard from afar. The road ran from Lu initially rising slightly, then steadily steeper until the highest point of the line, S-charl.
The next stages are in South Tyrol, first in Prague, which will start in forging, then on Thursday evening following the night and ride on Friday, 20.01. and Saturday, 21/01/12 the mass start in Sesto.

On the Reschensee in Obervinschgau 
will be held from 20 - 22 January 2012 for the first time a European Championship in snowkiting place after there for the 4th Time international championships have been held. Athletes from Germany, Austria, Russia, France, Czech Republic, Scandinavia entered the freestyle disciplines - on Park and Race. In addition to the European Championship titles, the German champion in both disciplines to be determined. The title will be awarded in the categories of ski and snowboard.
In the freestyle show Snowkiter various tricks and figures, while their big kite, the kite is pulled through the air. The Race to a specific route to be completed over several km, where it arrives on, speed and tactics, and speeds can be achieved up to 100 km / h.
