We hiked along the Gschneirer on 06/28/2011 Waalweg full length, and although the top is clear to read "Water runs from May to October," the Waal was totally dry! We were very disappointed and upset because we had traveled 150 km extra, just to see this Waal. Even more annoying is that the mountain or Leitenwaal might have had water, but we've got just the dry! The issue of irrigation channels is done for us at least until further notice!
